Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the firm, ensuring optimal performance and exceptional client service.
  • Implement and manage operational plans, projects, and processes in alignment with the firm's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for operational processes, quality assurance, and productivity improvement.
  • Manage and optimize operational practices including accounting procedures, compliance management, budgeting, reporting, and fund management.
  • Lead the integration of technology and software tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Odoo ERP) to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
  • Monitor and manage operational budgets to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Analyze operational data and reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across the team to ensure alignment with business goals.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role, preferably within a Chartered Accountant firm or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Familiarity with IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
